Dave Eldredge has been named executive director of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute.
According to an April 18 news release from University of Utah Health, Mr. Eldredge, a licensed clinical social worker, has more than 25 years of leadership experience in behavioral health.
He most recently served as director of the institute’s mental health crisis services. As executive director, he will oversee clinical services, including inpatient, residential and telehealth treatment.
The Huntsman Mental Health Institute, part of Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health, was named in 2019. The organization previously operated as the University Neuropsychiatry Institute. The institute operates a 161-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital and more than 85 outpatient locations.
