CVS Health has named Taft Parsons, III, MD, a vice president and the company’s chief psychiatric officer, the company said in an email shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Parsons will lead the Aetna Medical Affairs Behavioral Health organization, CVS said. Along with his appointment, CVS Health named Deborah Fernandez-Turner, DO, to the deputy chief psychiatric officer role.
Dr. Parsons previously worked with Humana as the enterprise medical director for behavioral health, CVS said.
