Trinity Health to open new mental health crisis center

Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health plans to open a new mental health crisis center at its Saint Mary’s campus in Grand Rapids, Mich., MLive reported May 22.

The center is a partnership between Trinity Health and Network180, the  mental health authority of Kent County, where Trinity Health Saint Mary’s is located. 

It will be open to the public 24/7 and free to all except those who have insurance that requires copays. Six thousand to 8,000 patients are expected to receive care in its first year. 

The center is slated to open in 2024.
